Term | Note Level of Experience |
Definitions | A Special Exercise in which you track the intensity of a given experience (i.e., how strong or weak it is at any given moment). This contrasts with many standard UM techniques where you track by sense category (SHF) or other qualities of those experiences (locations, activity vs. rest, flow, spaciousness, etc.).
For example, you could note the moment-by-moment intensity of a particular kind of experience, such as a particular emotion (like embarrassment), thought pattern (like worrying about the future), or urge (like, I need to buy that thing right now). The experience can be simple or complex, clear or unclear, pleasant, unpleasant, mixed, or neutral. Common labels are Clear, Subtle, None (or Strong, Weak, None). Can also be numbers (for example, 1-5). |
