Term Free Float
Definitions One of three basic contact strategies (Free Float, Systematic Inventory, and Even Coverage). In techniques with this contact strategy, attention is allowed to move from place to place, free to focus on whatever experiences are included in the focus range of the technique. The experiences attended to could be restricted (e.g., only restful body sensations, as in Feel Rest) or unrestricted (as in SHF). This contact strategy is commonly used in many Unified Mindfulness techniques.
