Term Happiness Grid
Definitions A table that organizes the pursuit of happiness into columns and rows using two basic building blocks:
  1. Type: Includes five basic happiness goals, each precisely defined: Relief, Fulfillment, Insight, Mastery, Connection.
  2. Level: The degree to which pursuing any given happiness goal would be obvious to the average person. Surface Level means very obvious and Deep Level means not typically obvious. For example, if you're suffering from an illness, curing the disease is the obvious form of relief you would want to pursue. But what if you can't cure it or mask the symptoms? Applying CC&E to your discomfort would be a less obvious way to pursue relief from your suffering.
